Is it just me or do the first couple look very love triangle-y?

after going to a dog show with my boyfriend, he tells me that afghan dogs give him the willies and so of course I show him this—

It really confuses me when people see characters with animal ears and tails (cat ears/tail, wolf ears/tail, etc.)— and call them Furries.

Anthropomorphic by definition means “animals having human characteristics”— which means they are more animal than human

The characters with animal ears and tails have entirely human bodies. Human faces, human limbs, human genitals, etc. But they just happen to have animal ears and tail attached.

And yet people still consider characters like the girls in Tokyo Mew Mew to be Furries? Or Holo from Spice and Wolf?

Please correct me if I’m wrong… I don’t know much about Furry culture or Furry art. I’m just trying to figure this out

I remember when I posted an original yaoi story featuring two cat-eared boys, a few people commented saying things like, “Eww, Furries. Not my thing.”

And I’m like—

"….but they’re… not furries….??"

I’m thinking about creating a series of “cosplay culture” themed illustrations :)

I wanted to draw an image of a female cosplayer getting into her cosplay on the morning of a convention— I wanted to make it seem like she was applying lipstick, but instead painting on a fake beard. :)

Coraline is a masterfully made film, an amazing piece of art that i would never ever ever show to a child oh my god are you kidding me

Nothing wrong with a good dose of sheer terror at a young age

"It was a story, I learned when people began to read it, that children experienced as an adventure, but which gave adults nightmares. It’s the strangest book I’ve written"

-Neil Gaiman on Coraline
